When asked why we play for Pipeline and the Crandall’s, the first word that comes to mind is Home.  When I looked up the definition of Home I was given this, and it hit the nail directly on the head:

    home

    /hōm/

    noun

    1. The place where one lives permanently, especially as a member of a family or household.

The spring of 2024, my daughter was searching for a new club lacrosse team.  Our previous club team left a bad vibe for “club” teams, and I was very skeptical about joining another.  We did our research, and I allowed her to pick multiple teams to try out for. During our search, we noticed that Pipeline had a few mini camps before try outs and we decided to sign up and give them a shot.  After day one, my daughter was giddy and excited.  She was not only impressed with the girls who came to these camps from different lacrosse clubs all around the metro area, but was truthfully impressed with the coaches.  With over a hundred girls there, they were still giving individual attention to each and every girl.  Whether it was a pointer on how to increase your shot accuracy, or words of encouragement.

Summer of 2024, my daughter tried out for 4 teams.  I wouldn’t allow her to make her decision until all try outs were done and all decisions were in.  She knew all along she wanted to play for Pipeline, and looking back, what a great blessing that has been.  In our short time with Pipeline, I am absolutely floored at the entire experience.  Every single person in the Pipeline organization truly loves this club and it shows through and through.  From Jenna and her immediate response and communication, willing to answer any and all questions and work with individuals if something arises, to the coaches and student coaches that put their all into each and every practice, to the girls and families that make up these amazing teams.  I have met coaches, families, parents, and girls that I know hands down have our back, will cheer on and encourage my daughter, yet will also push her to be the absolute best she can.

Looking at this entire organization, this club, this community, this family….this is home!  I truthfully believe that the reason that this is home is due to the people at the top, the two that truly pour their absolute everything not only into what Pipeline is, but into their staff and their players… The Crandalls.   When you witness both Krista and Crandall on the field with these girls, or up and down the sidelines during a game constantly communicating, or talking in a corner before or after practice, or as they make their way down the row of red backpacks as each girl is getting their goggles and cleats on, you can truly tell how much they genuinely care…not just for the club as a whole, but for each girls success both off and on the field.  It truly makes me so insanely proud to be a parent of a Pipeline player.  Not only does my daughter know that her coaches are there to give her advice on how she is playing, what she is doing outside club, how her food choices are helping or hindering her, but she knows that no matter what, she is able to go to Krista or Crandall, Ed, Becky, or Jenna and be 100% real, raw, honest and have support in her corner for whatever she may need help in.  As a young teen, that is something that is so incredibly important.

That, that right there is 100% why I am so insanely happy to be a part of PLC… to tell anyone and everyone that Pipeline Club and Home Turf is exactly that…our HOME!

As parents, we’ve been so grateful for the experience our daughters have had with this lacrosse club. The coaches truly care—not just about developing athletes, but about helping these girls grow as individuals. They’ve created a fun and encouraging environment while also challenging them to improve. The communication and organization from the staff have been great, making it easy to stay involved and informed.

Of course, as a newer program, there have been some growing pains. But what stands out is how committed the coaches and staff are to constantly improving. They listen, adjust, and are always looking for ways to better support the girls. It’s clear they’re not just building a lacrosse program—they’re building a community that helps these girls grow in confidence and resilience.

One of the most impactful things has been the personal investment from Krista, both coach and program director. The videos and letters she shares with the girls encourage them to push themselves, step outside their comfort zones, and believe in what they’re capable of. Her messages aren’t just about lacrosse—they’re about life. This club goes beyond lacrosse—it teaches life skills, builds confidence, and prepares these girls for whatever path they choose. We’re so glad to be part of it.

When my daughter first showed an interested in playing club lacrosse, we looked at all of the programs across the Twin Cities and went with the program the Crandalls were running. At the time, we felt the program was the best blend between lacrosse skills and personal growth - the right fit for our daughter and family.

As Crandall was reviewing the philosophy and approach during the launch meeting for Pipeline Lacrosse Club, my thought was, If I created a lacrosse club, this would be it.”  We have enjoyed working with the coaches and staff ever since.

Now that we’re in the recruiting year, and we can see the light at the end of the tunnel, it’s very clear that we made the right choice.

My daughter is a 2026 player, and has been coached by the Crandalls, and their coaching staff for 7years. Their commitment and training for my daughter has allowed her to succeed at playing high level lacrosse. With the training she has received she has been able to commit to play in College at a DII level.

We are a proud Pipeline family!

  • 2027 Parent

Our family has been with the Pipeline Lacrosse Club since it started. The coaches have deep lacrosse knowledge, represent the best coaches in the state and have strong female role models. They are empowering our daughter to reach her goals. The program develops well-rounded players, teaching them to understand multiple positions instead of just sticking to one.
The team trips are always well-organized and have challenging tournaments, with plenty of chances for our daughter to step up, make mistakes, and try again. We are grateful for how the coaches plan for the future on and off the field and provide guidance in the college recruitment process.
Finally, our daughter has learned more than just lacrosse; she has learned how to work through challenges, go above and beyond, reach beyond what she thinks she can do and get along with many different personalities.

My daughter has been playing at Pipeline since its inception three years ago. She has developed not only as a lacrosse player but also as a leader and a human being, thanks to the amazing coaches at Pipeline.

The Crandall's are the perfect yin and yang, with complementary strengths that enrich the experience for the girls. They both push the girls to be better but in different ways. Krista's ability to care for and nurture the mental side of the game and life is absolutely amazing. Her ideas to support the athletic side with mental, emotional, and competitive insights have been invaluable. Patrick's expertise in pushing both high-level concepts and the fine details that build up to those concepts is second to none.

At the end of the day, they both inspire the girls to strive for improvement and embrace hard work. But it's not just Krista and Patrick who make this club exceptional. Krista has built a team of coaches, operations staff, and support roles that are second to none. Every single one of these people cares deeply for the girls and pushes them to achieve their best.

You can see it when the girls walk into practice – they light up when they see the Crandall's and the other staff members. My daughter wouldn't be where she is with lacrosse or as confident in life without this amazing group.

This is the house and the system that the Crandalls have poured their hearts into to make it great. They know when to push and when to love and support, and for that, I am forever grateful!

  • 2028 Player

I appreciate Krista and Crandall as coaches and people so so much. From the moment I met them they were instantly nice and encouraging towards me, and made me feel welcomed at Pipeline. They have helped improve my game greatly and so much time and effort towards me and my team. You can tell that they want me to succeed as a player and they are doing all they can to help me reach my goals. As a player that is greatly appreciated. Crandall always pushing me to my hardest, and is making sure i’m having a good day. While Krista is always there to make me laugh, and give helpful tips. The Crandall’s have such a big impact on my life and I look forward to seeing and learning from them every week. I really appreciate them.

  • 2024 Player

I played for Pipeline because I wanted to be challenged to improve in both my lacrosse skill and IQ. The Crandalls and their coaching staff made sure we were always being pushed to try things out of our comfort zone, whether it was a new drill, a trick pass, or a new way to shoot. I also enjoyed the intense, fun, and fast-paced practices; they especially helped me improve my lacrosse IQ which has positively translated into collegiate play.

  • 2027 Parent

Pipeline is our club choice because of the talented, success-proven high school and collegiate coaches who provide varied techniques to keep athletes engaged and developing with each practice and game. The program is staffed to develop well-rounded athletes for life on and off the turf. PLC offers what a female lacrosse player needs to get where she wants to go next with her game, whether it’s for her high school career or to play at the collegiate level. But, most importantly, I chose PLC because it’s the right fit for my daughter.

  • 2027/2025 Parent

I am incredibly grateful for the positive impact that Krista Crandall and the Pipeline Organization has had on my two daughters, ages 16 and 17. Krista, as the COO and Recruiting Director of the organization, is deeply committed to motivating and empowering each player. Her leadership style creates an environment where not only the love for lacrosse thrives, but also personal growth. Krista's dedication to the sport is evident in every practice and game, as she consistently pushes the players to bring out their very best.

What sets Krista apart is her unwavering dedication to each individual player. She takes the time to understand their strengths, areas for improvement, and aspirations, helping them reach their full potential both on and off the field. It’s this individualized attention and care that makes the Pipeline program so special.

Through Crandall's guidance, my daughters have become more confident, disciplined, and passionate about the game. They have learned valuable skills that extend far beyond lacrosse, including teamwork, resilience, and leadership. We are incredibly proud to be a part of the Pipeline family and can confidently say that Krista’s leadership has played a key role in shaping my daughters into not only better athletes but better individuals.

  • PLC Coach

Crandall and Krista are like family to me.  We have coached together for so long it feels like home.  Pipeline allows me to coach with people I love and coach kids that I love to see grow their game.  The Crandalls and Pipeline make me a better coach, and kids better players.  I can't imagine coaching anywhere else!

  • 2027 Player

The reason I play club lacrosse is because I love the sport and I want to improve, but the reason I want to play for Pipeline Lacrosse Club is because the environment is so good and I haven’t even been playing for a whole season yet and I am already in love with PLC and the people playing here!

When selecting a club for our daughter a few years back, there were options. We knew the quality that the Crandalls and other coaches would bring to the Pipeline program; however, it was truly a decision that needed to feel right. Not only has it felt right, but it has also been the best decision for our family. Our daughter has been able to acclimate quickly to the program and players from around the metro with the support of the staff and coaches. Our experience over the past few years has cemented our decision with the program, as the coaches & staff are always willing to take that extra minute to coach up, reach out for further opportunities, explain the rules of the game, and explain the process. Not only are they coaching the players to improve their current game or play at the next level, more importantly, they are pushing them to be better people. This is evident in practice, games, and interactions. Joining the Pipeline family has been an amazing experience, and we look forward to the next few years.

I’ve watched my niece flourish under Krista as her Pipeline coach, and also her mentor and friend. Over the last 6 years Krista has shown nothing but support and encouragement for the young women she leads. Krista ensues confidence and drive.

The Crandall’s are an amazing duo who make the game fun and support their players like no other. (Plus, Crandall coaches at my Alma Mater so I think that’s extra cool!)

I play for PIpeline because I feel a sense of belonging there. The Crandalls have worked to make sure every coach feels like a coach you can talk to. PLaying with Pipeline has also grown my lacrosse IQ and stick skills, every day at practice I learn a new skill I can practice and if I'm not learning a new skill, it's a new concept. PIpeline is preparing me to play at the next level and accomplish my dreams.

  • PLC Coach

From the first time I heard about Pipeline, it was clear that their vision for what it takes to be not just a successful lacrosse player, but a successful person in life, has greatly aligned with my own beliefs and values. Their commitment to developing athletes who are strong, resilient, and prepared for the challenges both on and off the field is something I deeply respect.

I am incredibly grateful that they took a chance on someone they didn’t know, trusting me to bring my expertise in mental performance to their athletes. That leap of faith has led to an exciting journey together; one that continues to inspire and challenge me in the best ways. I look forward to continuing this work and helping them and their athletes reach new levels of success.

  • 2031/2029 Parents

We absolutely love being a part of Pipeline! The program has not only helped both of our girls become better players, but it has also challenged them to grow into well-rounded young women—strong mentally and physically. They truly enjoy working with a variety of college and high school coaches, who provide valuable feedback that helps build their confidence. Krista and Crandall run an excellent program, and it truly feels like a family. We couldn't be more grateful for the positive impact Pipeline has had on our daughters!

  • 2030/2029 Parents

We cannot express enough how grateful we are for Pipeline Lacrosse Club. We have three daughters in the program and from the moment they joined, they have felt like they are truly part of the PLC family. Our daughters wanted a club that challenged them and accepted them and they found that at Pipeline.

What stands out about Pipeline Lacrosse Club is the leadership behind it.The Crandalls have created something really special for girls. Their leadership, commitment, and care for girls lacrosse is unmatched. They’re not just coaching—they’re mentoring, inspiring, and helping to shape these young women into confident people. The skills our daughters have gained from team travel and weekly practice sessions go beyond the turf.

We’ve seen firsthand how the coaching staff goes above and beyond in their commitment to the players. The positive impact the PLC coaches have had on our daughters during these important years of growth is immeasurable. Their support, guidance, and encouragement have made a real difference in helping them navigate these pivotal years.

  • 2026 Player

I appreciate how nice, caring, and thoughtful they are. How they give time to help everyone who are learning new skills or enhancing old ones.

  • 2026 Parents

We came to Pipeline from a different club with some hesitation. It’s the best decision we made for our daughter. In a short time, her skills have improved tremendously with the amazing coaches. Most importantly, PLC has built up her confidence not only as an athlete but as whole person. She is very proud to represent Pipeline.

  • PLC Coach

Being out of state, out of country and moving to an entirely new place in the world 2 years ago... It was a struggle at first to find people that met the same passion and vision for the sport of lacrosse, and helping young athletes find their footing within the game. I was fortunate enough to cross paths with Crandall during my first season as being the Hamline Women’s Lacrosse Head Coach. I saw a lot of myself in Crandall after sharing the sideline with him for a game. This experience led me to becoming a Pipeline coach that summer. Since joining Pipeline 2 years ago, it truly feels like Crandall and Krista are my Minnesota family. They have allowed me to learn, grow, fail, succeed in the women’s lacrosse game, and I could not be more thankful to cross paths with the Crandalls. Their love and passion for the game is infectious and I wouldn’t be the coach I am today without this opportunity.
