coach bio
I started my lacrosse career in 2016 with the CSP Bears, played college lacrosse for 2 years! I ended up transferring and finishing my college degree at University of Minnesota-Duluth in business. I started coaching in 2017 as the asst. coach for STMA High School and became the Head coach 2 years ago. I have coached for the program for the past 8 years. I started coaching club lacrosse at Pipeline 2 years ago!
I coach because I am passionate about building positive relationships that make an impact on each player. I coach to learn from my peers and become a better version of myself for those around me. I believe the best teams are built from a foundation of positive leadership and great communication skills. Coaching lacrosse has taught me how to become vulnerable, be myself, and find acceptance/trust with each individual. Each player is so different in their own unique way so being able to be an outlet and coach them up has truly been inspiring. Being a coach is more than just on the field for me, it’s the life lessons that will influence each individual for the rest of their life. My why is to change lives in positive manner, bring energy/enthusiasm to everyday, and connect connect connect to those around me!
I chose to coach at pipeline to broaden my coaching career and be part of a family! The coaches at PLC have taught me so much knowledge about the game but also have built a strong bond with each other. I truly believe our entire staff cares about more than just the game and believes in each player on/off the field. All the players show up each and every day to grind and develop which makes the coaching feel valued. Krista and Crandall provide a great duo to run this club efficiently and are both so unique that makes the culture come together. It’s more than just a club lacrosse program-we’re a family who shows up for one another day in and day out!
